The Huron Cottage is in a wooded setting only a 8 minute walk down quiet road from private Cobmoosa Beach on Lake Michigan (or drive or bike). Two bedrooms, sleeps 5-6, due to small septic please limit over-night guests to 5. There is a full sized bed in one bedroom and 2 twin beds in the second. The Huron cottage is rustic, but attractively decorated as a "North Woods" cabin. Cable and DVD player is in cottage. There also is a sofa sleeper in the living area. A large kitchen has a refrigerator, range and microwave. A very nice deck is on the side with benches and picnic table; this is a favorite of guests. The bath is small but is a full bath with a shower (no tub). A barbeque grill (charcoal) and fire ring are available. Parking is limited to about 2 large vehicles or 3 smaller ones. There are two 90-100 ft White Pines (State Tree of Michigan) on the property along with numerous maple, oak and beech trees. Phone: There is a phone (local only). This place is for you if you like an inexpensive, yet cozy and attractive, rustic vacation in quiet woods a short walk from the private 2,800 foot Lake Michigan beach. Also you are only 7 miles from all the attractions of the dunes and Silver Lake to the north.
